Sylvania Trip Numero Dos

Obviously, last weekend I traveled back to The SYL for Tgiving and festivities. It was a good time. Pat brought Velveeta Shells and Cheese to Tgiving which equates to a happy Carmen, so hell yes for that! We also played a hardcore game of Apples to Apples in which everyone discovered just how weird I truly am. Friday, Andrea Sober had an After-Tgiving Party. Most of the '06 Seniors that I wanted to see were there, including Mer and Jules (pictured to the left). It was tres fun. I realized how much I've missed some of those people! Seriously, it was awesome to see everyone. Saturday Max came home and we went to my former place of work for dinner. OMG it was so good! I forgot how amazing Bravo's Penne Med is! The rest of the weekend I just dicked around with the fam and Max. It was such a good weekend. But, at the same time, I'm glad to be back in the city :o)

FIIIIIIRE PT. 2

I have no picture for this post because when this event occurred I didn't have a chance to grab a camera... or pants. This time, ferrrreal, there was a fire in Rubin. The alarm went off at like 9 and I was wearing a skirt and tank top, and I didn't get a chance to change before we ran outside. Luckily for me, my friend Sanishya had a sweatshirt. It was like 40 degrees out, and it sucked. We were outside watching the fire trucks come and put out the fire in the laundry room. It was sad. So we no longer have a laundry room. Yeah rough times. We were let back in the building like an hour later... me, my skirt, and my hypothermia. How fun. But who can legit say that their dorm caught on fire, I mean really?! Yeah, Rubinites can. SNAP!

Theme Parties

I've come to the realization that theme parties are at least a million times better than regular parties. At least. This weekend I went to a Mexican theme party (WOOT) and a Ninjas vs. Pirates party. They were both pretty crazy. We actually went to Hayden for the N vs. P party, and the rooms are amazing. I'm yealous. This coming weekend we're having a White Trash theme party for our half birthdays (Liz's birthday is on May 23rd, and mine's on the 20th). It should be fun. I'll post pictures soon.

Oh man, I'm not even sure where to start. I guess we'll start with the awesomeness that was last week. I got to see Rediscover, Scenes from a Movie, We Are The Fury, Valencia, and best of all Peachcake! Hahah they were terrible, but it was funny. Chass was here, too, which multiplied the awesomeness factor by like a million. I met so many people, I can't even explain it... Tobin, Josh, Gabby, TJ, John, Mike, Luke, James, that kid from my Con West class, and probably 20 more who I can't remember. I've never had that much fun, consecutively for 4 nights. May I just say that I think that Daaron is a highly underrated member of Rediscover. He's probably one of the funniest dudes I've ever encountered. "I had no idea you guys were gonna be this excited!" On the Rediscover note, OMG they were amazing, as always, in concert. They played the new stuff and Chass and I knew it all, like the creepers we are! Liz is officially in love with them now, too. YES! Reeled in another one! We saw We Are The Fury play twice. The second time, at the Purevolume Loft, was modef so money. Seeing everyone play on such a small stage made it so much more intimate... I felt like it was our little private concert :o)


I was pretty proud of my photography skills with these photos. Hell yeah! Much to my mother's dismay, there was an open bar at the loft and everyone was having such a good time. I loved hanging out with the bands. It was awesome. Legit, I can't want for next year. Massive amounts of fun will be had, all around. But for now, I have to recuperate before my body shuts down.
